Red Alder is found throughout North America.

Attributes : Red Alder is mostly straight grain, the colour ranges from an pale yellow to reddish brown. The colour and fine grain structure is comparable to Cherry, Birch and Maple.

Finishing : Alder is very suitable for polishing / staining, were preference would be given to oils and waxes.
